MY APPROACH TO MANAGING SOCIAL MEDIA
When it comes to having a strong social media presence as a company, you need to provide value to whoever comes across your content. Almost no one is going to follow a company or corporation unless their social media can either entertain them, educate them, or emotionally move them. If a company's social media isn't doing this, then they are just posting uninspiring content to the internet with no intent or purpose. If social media is to be used as a marketing tool, then perceived value is everything. Not just about our product or service, but how your company presents itself in the digital space. A bad social presence can generate negative opinions about a company or brand. That's why it's important for your social presence to be consistent, high-quality, and interesting to keep people engaged and create positive connotations with your brand that could lead to sales.
When working with a company to improve its social media presence, I always aim to make each post provide Value in one of three ways: entertainment, education, or emotion. The three E’s as I like to call them, are the secret ingredients to success when trying to get people to remember your brand or follow your accounts. A person needs a reason to follow or engage with your social media. Providing value to potential consumers in one of these three ways will help boost engagement but more importantly, improve brand perception.

As a content specialist at Vuepoint Advertising, I have been tasked with managing the social media account of Boulder Real Estate Agent Time Goodacre. For Tim, luxury is what he wants to be associated with his brand. To achieve this, I've created posts that show the beauty of each of his current listings as well as what makes them special. For this video here, which was featured as a reel on his Instagram, I wanted to show each important aspect of this home, while giving it a clean modern feel.

Credit union of Denver became a client of mine when they were looking to spice up their social media game to attract a younger audience. They are located in the middle of two public universities in Denver and needed content to gain the attention of college students in the area. Since earlier this year, we have been creating social media ads boosted to college students in the area while making content that can provide value in the form of entertainment.
